Miley Cyrus collaborates with Peloton for launch of the fitness company’s “Let Yourself Run” initiative.
The campaign will also include the Miley Artist Series, showcasing music by Bass Persuades on the platform for Peloton members starting in October.
In a video posted on Peloton's Instagram, Miley wore black bodysuit and sheer tights.
French singer Amanda Lear accused American pop star Miley Cyrus of copying one of her songs, apparent similarities between her song "The Sphinx" and the American's new track "Redlights."
Cyrus released her tenth album "Bass Persuades" last Friday.
Lear wrote on her Instagram, "Thank you, Miley, for copying my song 'The Sphinx'! I'm flattered!".
Lear told AFP on Monday, "I've never been litigious, but my record label, Universal, and the publishers of the track, for which I wrote the lyrics, want acknowledgment of the plagiarism".
"I simply pointed out the situation by thanking Miley Cyrus and adding that I was flattered. I never threatened a lawsuit or retaliation'.
During an interview with Zane Lowe, Miley Cyrus revealed that she had an anxiety attack on stage in 2022.
She recalled, "I was saying to the crowd, ‘I’m having an anxiety attack.’ And they were like, 'Hell yeah, we’re having anxiety attacks'".
"I guess it wasn’t so much anxiety, as I realize now in hindsight; it was just a buildup of the cocktail of chaos, you could say. Living through a global pandemic like everyone else".
Months later, she tested positive for COVID.
Cyrus recalled, "In that moment I was standing on stage, and it was an outdoor show and I could see the moon and I started getting existential of how small I am and how I started thinking about time".
"And this is all while I’m performing ‘Fly on the Wall ... and in my head I’m like, ‘We’re all going to die one day,’ and I’m on a rock hurtling through space and my really good friend’s dead and I’m living in a pandemic and I’m really sick, and I actually can’t breathe for real."
“Truly my nervous system was just so shocked,” she said.
Miley Cyrus will perform at Hollywood Bowl for the first time on Oct. 16 and 18.
She wrote on her Instagram, "It’s been a while. The Hollywood Bowl is my favorite place to experience music and see my favorite artists. I’ve sat in those seats many times, but I’ve never taken the stage".
"LA is my heart and I’m bringing it home. See you there."
Rock band Model/Actriz will join the shows as a special guest. The band’s vocalist, Cole Haden, co-wrote “Prelude,” a track featured on Cyrus’s latest album, “Something Beautiful.”
Miley Cyrus's fans in Kansas will get the opportunity to listen to the album three days before its official release at Permanent Records.
The event will take place on Sept. 15 at 5 p.m., and guests are encouraged to RSVP in advance.
Other places will be Alabama, Arizona, Colorado and others. The list of places is shown on Miley’s Instagram.
Miley Cyrus’s latest single, “Bass Persuades,” has already dropped off Spotify’s Global 200 chart after only two day.
This marks her first release under Atlantic Records after she left Columbia Records following a five-year stint with the label.
Her album, also titled, “Bass Persuades,” is due out on September 18.

"The song was inspired by how people spend so much time on their phones, and by this one time when we were at a club and there was this gay boy who was having the absolute time of his life dancing. A group of people started making fun of his moves, and I watched him get sad as he realized they were making fun of him. I think if you go to a club just to make fun of other people, then you're a bigger loser than all of my exes. It's not like you're auditioning to be Beyoncé's backup dancer. I went over, cheered him up, and asked him to come dance with me.
Suddenly, he was the coolest person in the whole club because he was dancing with me. Nobody should ever be made to feel ashamed of who they are or how they express themselves. I hope this song makes you dance, makes you feel free, and makes you feel unapologetic."
The video claiming that Miley Cyrus sang “Jolene” at her godmother Dolly Parton’s funeral was fake. In the video, Miley was seen singing, but later, she couldn’t continue, and Reba McEntire finished the song.
In reality, following Dolly Parton’s passing on August 25, 2026, her funeral arrangements were kept strictly private and limited to close family members. There was no public or recorded performance by Miley Cyrus at the funeral.
