Miley Cyrus posted a long message on her Instagram. She wrote:

HAPPY HOLIDAYS & NEW YEAR!

It’s bittersweet saying goodbye to a year that has been so good to me, but I am looking forward to starting over again. This is one of my favorite parts of not just the creative process but the way life has chosen to teach me.

In everything I do I like to go ALL the way. Give it ALL I’ve got. ALL for it to come to an end, move on and start anew. At times it can be a heartbreaking process but I’ve always known the pieces to come back together and create something beautiful.

Thank you to everyone who has been apart of making this year so special.

AJ Michalka praised Miley Cyrus

AJ Michalka talked about her past with Miley Cyrus to PEOPLE, "Me, Aly and Miley had this whole moment on set where we were able to interview each other and talk about these new premieres, and we were all giddy and young and excited. That's a core memory with her that's just really adorable."

She compliments Miley, "She's a very down-to-earth, cool person through and through. Exactly what you think you're going to get, you're going to get, which is what I love about her."

She also enjoyed performing with Miley, saying, "We had a great run with each other. I mean, we could have toured for months together. We really gelled on and off-stage. Our moms were friends. Our senses of humor were very similar. And we got to sing a Kiss song with her, [“Rock and Roll All Nite,”] every night."

AJ Michalka didn't see Miley for a while, "I was going to reach out to Miley the night of the airing, and I didn't, which is silly, but I haven't seen her in so long."

"But I want to just reach out and be like, "I had so much fun singing that song. It's so good".

During an interview with Variety, Nick Jonas tells that his experience with Disney Channel contributes to his success.

He said, "I absolutely look back at [Disney] as a creative school. It was also school, to be honest. I was between the ages of 14 and 18, which is my high school years. That graduating class of Miley [Cyrus], Selena [Gomez] and Demi [Lovato], it was all of us coming up together and you can see, frankly, the length of our careers and the success we’ve all been able to have."

It is recorded for Gia Coppola’s film “The Last Showgirl.

Cyrus is one of the writers together with Lykke Li and Andrew Wyatt.

Miley talks about Andrew Wyatt, "Andrew Wyatt is a longtime friend and musical genius. I trusted his instincts for the film as he has devoted himself to finding the sound that supports this project. Lykke Li is a fabulous songwriter and had a great concept which made it simple to come in & make it me."

Miley Cyrus wore 250 hair extensions during her Hannah Montana days. She told during her appearance on Harper's "BAZAAR The Good Buy podcast", 'I also had 250 individual hair extensions, and so there was a lot of, like, down'.

Miley also tells that her mom Tish won't leave the styling session until they had reached agreement on the extensions.

Miley recalled, 'If it was under 250, my mom wasn’t having it. Tish [Cyrus] would say we need another row. Tish would be like, "Take another row up." We would have 250. Which they don't even do that anymore'.
